What is the School of Missional Life?
The School of Missional Life is a three-term programme that helps you to discover how to be a disciple of Jesus who makes disciples. Our heart is to be missional to those we live amongst. We desire to see a generation raised up who are intentionally infecting their communities with the kingdom through the daily routine of life… the result: the lost are saved, the sick healed, the poor welcomed and the captives freed.
Why the School of Missional Life?
By following Jesus, we become his disciples – it’s how we experience the full power and privileges of our faith.
Jesus took his disciples on a three-year mission trip to learn from him and to proclaim and demonstrate the good news of the kingdom!
The three-term School of Missional Life course runs from October 2025 to July 2026. There is a Missional Life Programme for those who are relatively new to stepping out in mission, and a Missional Leadership Programme for those who have already completed a year with the School or equivalent. Both programmes will explore the Discovery Bible method alongside a series of taught sessions. All students are required to undertake a short-term mission trip as part of the course.
Come and learn who you really are as a child of the King, encounter his love and mercy, and answer the exciting call to live a missional life.
What does it look like?
The School has two key elements: Discovery Groups and a teaching programme.
Discovery Groups
Imagine you are walking with Jesus on the road to Emmaus. Life is bad right now. Jesus begins to tell you stories from the scriptures that reveal what has happened and why. Your heart starts to burn, and then your eyes are opened........
Come with us on that journey from creation to Christ.
As part of the course you will discover how local discovery Bible sessions will ignite hearts and open eyes to the revelation of Jesus. By sharing these stories you will see how the commission to make disciples can be fulfilled, using the model that Jesus gave us.

Other Opportunities
Missional Leadership Programme
If you have already completed a year with the School of Missional Life or similar training then you can apply for our Missional Leadership Programme.
Still using the Discovery Group method this programme focusses on leading and coaching others. You will disciple students and lead in mission and ministry, passing onto others what you have received and fulfilling more of the great commission. You will be challenged and vulnerable, but know more of Jesus's mission working through you. As part of a unique intake you will experience transformation, develop your gifts and know the joy of seeing others develop and engage in outreach, service and loving others.
This programme is limited to 16 students and also costs £150.
International students
We invite you to apply initially for the Missional Leadership Programme for International Students. This follows the same teaching sessions as the missional leadership programme, but will include some additional advice on using Discover Groups in your particular situation.
Do get in touch to discuss how this might work best for you.
The cost for interational students is £75.
